Dad’s started out of my kitchen in 2022. It started as experiments. Trying different types of sandwich combinations and seeing what did and didn’t work. Honestly, not all worked – they didn’t work at all. But most did.
Next I tested these ideas on friends and family to get their feedback. The sandwiches that made it through the initial tests and were approved by other people, were written down.
Next was the hard part… figuring out what to do. How would I get these amazing creations to customers. So to do that, I’m starting small: A popup food tent at local events and festivals.
Dad’s is named in honor of my father who passed away in late 2022 as he always loved my cooking. The Big Jerry is a sandwich specifically designed to encompass my dad and his love for food. If you love a good, meaty sandwich, be sure to check it out.

The best of both menus! We take a smashed burger patty and top it with mozzarella cheese, candied bacon and our sandwich sauce. Then for the buns, we sandwich it between two perfectly done, grilled cheese sandwiches.
